Australia's wine grape industry is still in crisis with a glut of wine grapes. The Federal Government has just offered  grants of up to $100 000 to individual growers under its Wine Tourism and Cellar Door program. But that's not very helpful if you a bulk wine grape grower selling to major wine companies as is the case across the Riverina.


Victoria's water storage levels in coastal areas have been restored. However Geelong's water storages sit below 40 per cent. 


And it's that time of year when magpies turn into dangerous swoop machines. And if you're ever thought you've been picked on, you might be right. Those devil magpies later on Country Today.

To the Farming Forever National Summit and there's been a lot of talk about  renewables. Interim CEO of the National Farmers Federation, Su McCluskey. She says the key is early consultation.
