The greatest threat to honey-bee pollinated crops, Varroa mite, has been detected in South Australia for the first time. The deadly parasite is expected to completely wipe out wild honey bees, meaning sectors such as the almond industry will be completely reliant on commercial hives.

Volunteers from Need For Feed Australia have again rolled into South West Victoria, to bring critical feed to farmers in the area. Around 30 trucks made the trip to the region on Saturday... before distributing the hay on Fathers Day.
