The Box Elder County Commission on May 28 approved a zoning map amendment to reclassify 6.29 acres in unincorporated Box Elder County near Corinne from residential to general industrial. Box Elder Community Development Director Scott Lyons presented the ordinance, stating that the application had been reviewed by the planning commission, which held a public hearing and forwarded a recommendation of approval. No public opposition was reported. The rezone allows property owner Garrett Moon to relocate a light manufacturing business to the site, located at approximately 4560 N. 6800 West, just west of the Walmart Distribution Center.
