The Box Elder County Commission voted July 9 to close county buildings along Main Street in Brigham City at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, in anticipation of Peach Days traffic and parking congestion. Commissioner Lee Perry explained that the early closure is needed to prevent access issues caused by crowds using county parking lots for parade viewing and festival access. “By about three in the afternoon, we have a complete bottleneck,” said Perry. The motion passed unanimously.
