Breast Cancer affects 1 in 8 women, and Dr. Beverley became one of the statistics when she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in January 2014. As a single mom going through a divorce, she was unsure how she was going to maneuver treatment and balance her business with a child. Through the support of her doctors, family members, friends, and her faith in God, Dr. Beverley held onto hope to get to the other side of the disease. She knew it was essential to have a positive mindset and a belief that her story would help other women someday. Today, she continues to live a life of gratitude for being in remission and feels honored to be here to tell her story.
