Today’s guest, Golzar Selbe Naghshineh, a perinatal mental health specialist and psychoanalyst, was interrupted with this question last year when she discovered that a rare genetic disorder disrupted her ability to conceive easily. Confronted with her new reality, Golzar had to make an extremely hard decision about her desire to be a mother and is openly and honestly sharing her story on The Expectful Podcast today.

Now, Paige is the Chief External Relations Officer at The Motherhood Center, a space in New York City which provides support and clinical treatment for new and expecting mothers experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).
