The CPSC and Cove Appliance no recall Cove Appliance 24-inch built-in dishwashers. The electrically heated drying element fails to properly shut off and can overheat creating fire and burn hazards. About 42,000 of these appliances were sold nationwide. Immediately stop using these recalled dishwashers, unplug them, and contact Cove Appliance by phone at 1-888-651-9376 or via e-mail at [email protected] to schedule a free repair to install a second thermal protection device and replace the dishwasher’s heating element.
