Covenant of My Peace Today rings true because of the covenant through Jesus Christ. Yeshua is the “Almighty” in Revelation chapter one. The goal is to redeem, restore, and remove the enemies of God. Even in these troubled times the promises of God are yea and amen to those who believe. In Israel, the same God who sent Judah into captivity is the same one who rendered to them forgiveness and mercy. His grace was redeeming and brought the people back to Jerusalem and to the opportunity to rebuild the Temple and their home. The peace and the covenant of God was in full redeeming work as the people found healing and hope.
