Having been convicted by the word of God to repent and confess their sins, the nation of Israel is now moved to action by renewing their commitment to the Mosaic covenant and especially to specific provisions which were foundational to their present circumstances. This passage is surprisingly relevant to the church today, as we see in this expository sermon from Nehemiah 9:38-10:39.
