What does God say a Covenant is?
In part 1 of a 4 part series we will be talking about the different types of covenants and why they are critically important.
"Covenant" is not just a Bible word. It's the language of blood, the architecture of heaven, and the spiritual legal system God uses to govern eternity.
Today we're breaking down:
A Contract (in secular terms) is:
A formal, binding agreement between two or more parties in which each side commits to specific obligations, behaviors, or conditions, often with mechanisms for accountability or consequences.
A Covenant (in Biblical terms) is:
A sacred, irrevocable, life-binding oath between two parties, sealed in blood, enforced by God, and carrying blessings for faithfulness and curses for betrayal.
A contract is based on mutual benefit. A covenant is based on mutual surrender.
Jesus didn't die to create a religion. He died to create a covenant.
A covenant where He bleeds-and we bow.
