The heavens declare the glory of God as made known in the gospel of Jesus the Messiah (Ps. 19:1-4; cf. Rom. 10:16-18). In the last session, we looked at some of the ways that the moon functions as a prophetic witness to the Messiah, and how God uses the rising of the sun to communicate the resurrection, the Day of the Lord, and the coming judgment on the wicked. In this session we turn our attention to two of the constellations that the Bible mentions specifically by name – the Pleiades and Orion. Join us as we explore how these constellations - together with some of the others with which they were often associated in antiquity - proclaim God’s glory and covenant faithfulness.
