The Championship Playoff Final is nearly upon us and for the two teams in this seasons final, both have amazing stories to tell on their rise to the promised land... providing they get there on Saturday 27th May 2023.

For Coventry City, it will represent a magnificent rise under Mark Robins from the 2017/18 season when they lost early on against the now National League South Yeovil Town before winning the League Two Playoff Final. The Sky Blues rise has had many difficult days throughout the years which include having to play in Northampton, the numerous ground issues and financial challenges. They might not all be solved but £120 Million in the World's most rewarding game will go a long way to solving those wouldn't they?

For Luton Town, it will be a similarly dramatic rise from being in that 2008/09 relegation battle with AFC Bournemouth and Rotherham United - who both had points deductions themselves (do we need to remind you of Minus 17 again) - whilst Luton had an insurmountable Minus 30 points. 5 National League Seasons later which involved two Playoff Final defeats to AFC Wimbledon and York City respectively (the Hatters bypassing both clubs in their charge up the leagues) and a string of promotions under Nathan Jones leaves new manager Rob Edwards, formerly of Watford, on the brink of the Premier League. Can you imagine the Kenny or better known Kenilworth Road in the Premier League? Luton fans you might need to start believing.
