Elmhurst's own Kristen Smaga, was living and working only a few hundred miles from Wuhan, China when the COVID-19 outbreak first occurred.  Lucky to catch a flight back to the United States the day before all flights were stopped from China to the U.S., she explains the difference between the Chinese reaction and ours to the pandemic.  She shares her 14-day self quarantine, updates from her friends in China, and her desire to return.
