This is to encourage Christians to focus on Jesus and the warnings God gives to Christians and non believers. It brings peace, because of what Jesus has done.

God's love through truth of his word, John 1 v1, not the sugar coated, twisted version, that is proclaimed today, in modern Christianity. God never changes Hebrews 13 v8. However its us that must change to inherit the kingdom of God, in justification, sanctification and glorification.
