Kat Zellner, a 2020 law graduate from the University of Houston Law Center and the owner of the Original Kolache Shoppe, tells us her experience studying for the 2020 Texas Bar Exam during the COVID-19 pandemic and addresses the BLE’s response to the current situation. Kat also tells us about her experience as a business owner and her internship in the Equitable Development Initiative program at Lone Star Legal Aid, which provides assistance to lower socioeconomic businesses run by persons of color in the Houston Area.
