Micah Kane, President & CEO of the Hawaii Community Foundation, joined the conversation to talk about the community needs as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. He said that community needs are still widespread and shared that the need for food is at least 3x the amount prior to COVID-19. While the Hawaii Community Foundation continues to support emergency grants, it has also taken steps to support the recovery phase.
