This episode begins our series dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. While we may not be in control of our season of isolation, we can control our response, and can utilize a time of solitude to learn and grow. Moses and Elijah enter isolation in the wilderness of despair and the mountain of God, and both are given new perspective and equipped as prophets through their isolation. Jesus also follows the same pattern of periodic isolation throughout His ministry. We hope to continue to have helpful conversations in the coming weeks on how Christians can respond to COVID-19 in ways that promote wellness.
