The comorbitidy data during this COVID-19 pandemic is striking. Recent data out of Cook County, IL shows that 92% of those who died had some other underlying health condition. Hypertension, obesity/morbid obesity, diabetes, and pulmonary diseases were the leading health issues. This shoudl be a wake-up call for each and every one of us to start making better lifestyle choices. The choices to exercise and move more, get better sleep, reduce our stress, and fuel our bodies with nutritious, energy-rich foods. It’s time to start living as if your life depends on it. Because it does.
