On today’s special bonus episode, we wanted to share a webinar that was hosted by CSPL on February 9, 2021, to address some of the most pressing questions and concerns that our Black and Latinx communities have about the COVID-19 vaccines. Each question is answered by Dr. Ngozi Ezike, the Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health. She has served for more than 15 years promoting the organization's mission of delivering integrated health services with dignity and respect regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Dr. Ezike's presentation was conducted in both English and Spanish, but this podcast will only feature the English portion of the Q&A.
For more information about the COVID-19 and the vaccine, please visit www.dph.illinois.gov. If you live in the Proviso Area and are interested in attending our Public Meeting or filling out the community vision survey, please visit: 1) Maywood's Community Vision Survey and 2) Virtual Public Meeting. The public meeting will be presented in both English and Spanish.
