Ajoy Kumar, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Ajoy Kumar has been passionate about making an impact in the community since he was a hospice volunteer. Caring for patients today as a board-certified family physician, Dr. Kumar loves to empower them and improve their health knowledge. “It’s rewarding to see patients recapture a version of themselves they thought they had lost or thought they could never become,” he says. “It’s also an honor to work with seniors. They are a source of wisdom and inspiration.”

In addition to one-on-one care, Dr. Kumar has previously overseen patient care and developed national and state level healthcare policy. He is constantly reading about advances in his field and taking up new hobbies. Most of all, Dr. Kumar values quality time with family.
