*Ml Taha Karaan* mufti of the MJC urges the Muslim community to adopt social distancing for the daily communal prayers by praying at home and not at the masaajid for ALL communal prayers.

Masaajid will now add the following line "Alaa sallu fi buyutikum" - "Pray in your homes" to the athaan.

We urge the Muslim community to follow this advice as part of the collective effort to curb the devastating effects of this virus.

We pray Allah removes this tribulation and makes it a means of our reorientation to the Divine
