In this episode, AML reviews the mechanism of action of proposed treatment options, and talks to Dr Mahesh Patel and Dr Scott Borgetti about the evidence, research and controversies behind all these therapies. We will also focus on differing opinions on the use of these drugs before data definitively proves their clinical benefit. We are all balancing the need to do (treat) and the need to learn (study), as we evaluate and treat patients with COVID19. There’s no perfect answer, but a great discussion nonetheless.
