Welcome to the next episode of Cozy on up in NC Cardinal! Each episode is a journey through a Cozy Mystery theme or author available in NC Cardinal. With February, we have the Great American Pie Month, perfect for a culinary fiction & food history fan like myself. National Pie day was Jan 23, and there are other special pie days throughout the year. But we’ll use this month to dive into some “sweet” books, and return to this theme next February for sure.
If you’ve got a Cozy Mystery topic or question you’d like me to look into in a future episode, just post it in the comments in our social media post on Facebook or Twitter, or in the episode Q&A! Or, join our Goodreads group or Amazon Book Club to discuss the books online with others.
After seeing so many dozens of titles (entire pie shop mysteries series, or just single titles), I had to narrow it down. Today’s criteria is highlighting an often-overlooked segment: series that have suddenly ended. So, for those of you who like reading complete series, go for it! For the rest of us, use these as a pie sample, as it were, to taste test an author and find more series to read!
