Last year, CPD received criticism on their foot pursuit policy after officers shot and killed 13-year-old Adam Toledo and 22-year-old Anthony Alvarez. Critics said it was too vague and gave officers too much discretion to chase suspects. CPD recently announced they will revise the rules.
