Mark- stand your ground laws in florida are under scrutiny...self defense laws are not new...but now the prosecution must prove threat didn't exist

-floridas law has been in the news from Trayvon martin, movie theatre in pasco...etc

-statute will be tested and altered as it gets challenged over time
