What is Courageous love?

Do we really need courage to love... yes... we do, if it is unconditional love we are talking about.

It is easy to love but very hard to maintain it. Loving comes naturally to us humans as we are nurturers by birth. The problems arises when we allow our brains to feel in a loving relationship.

Till the time we are ok, with giving or contributing it flows freely. The moment we start building dams starting with why or who, then the flow starts being sporadic... till it dries up completely.

The question which come to mind is... Why do we feel complete only when our feelings are reciprocated?

Why do we insist on it being from the same place...we want?

Is it possible for two people to love equally...... there will always be a difference in feeling, temperament, needs etc... Isn't it?

Then isn't it better to be with a person who loves us rather than whom we love? Why the insistence of it being exactly as we imagine it to be?

Why do I have to love an apple just because you do... what is wrong with my loving an orange?

Is it possible to remain neutral to a person who loves us?

Is it possible to love a person with the same intensity even after we are hurt by them again and again?

Is it possible to forgive everything that they do?

If not then, what do we do about it?

Don't we shut ourselves off when we are hurting?

Isn't shutting ourselves by default distancing us from everything?

A dam in a river, collects and preserves water, which has to be released at intervals. If not released, it has the power to devastate the whole area causing damage to everything that comes in the way.

The sun shines everyday like clockwork, it is up to us where we are... Inside, outside, under the umbrella. We receive sunlight according to our capability and want.

The sun does not differentiate between anything. Maybe that's why we never blame the sun or hate it. We blame deforestation, global warming, our callousness everything but not the sun... as it gives unconditionally without any kind of

discrimination. When we have the courage to love without discrimination we will be receiving everything that is right for us... from everywhere.
