What is Momentum? Momentum in trading is when you get a strong move to the upside or downside. Here is an example: let's say after a pullback, price has 4-6 bullish consecutive candles in a row. This is called momentum. This is the same for a bearish example. If you have 4-6 bearish consecutive candles in a row, that is considered momentum in my opinion. In a bullish scenario, each of the candles should close higher than the last candle. This shows us that we should be buying instead of selling
