Craft A Perfect Email Signature Photo

Listen Later

When you are building out your business you really want to have brand recognition in every aspect. Having an awesome photo in your email signature is one of the best ways to do this.

Have you ever gotten an email and just don’t know or remember who it was from? Maybe they had their name in the signature and it’s about a topic that you’re interested in, but you’re confused if you ever signed up for their stuff or if it’s just spam?

When we are talking about building our brand we are really talking about building that know, like, and trust factor. If someone doesn’t KNOW who you are, you’ve already lost them.

That’s why I love to have your images splashed everywhere. And your email signature is no exception.

So let’s dive into some quick tips on what makes a steller email signature photo.

  1. Let's see your face.
  2. Have good lighting.
  3. Fill the frame.
  4. Reflect the message you want to get across (somber, sophisticated, warm, inviting).
  5. Small in size so loads quickly.
  6. Don’t just use an image. Include other relevant information like links and contact information.
  7. Stay away from GIFS or video may not load properly.

Now all of these tips will work perfectly for your email signature photo, but BONUS….they also work for you social media profile images and email headers, if you choose to use those.
