These recalled restraints are also known as furniture straps, and their plastic brackets and cable ties can degrade and break over time. These defective restraints create serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that could lead to serious injuries or death to children or to elderly adults.

About 55,170 of these restraint kits were sold by Amazon beginning in September 2019.
