Crime Diner

If it hasn’t been your day, your month, or even your year join the club. This week we discuss the most cursed days of the calendar. Don’t even bother getting out of bed on these days. Dana tells us about some of the evil history surrounding January 30th. On this day, Hitler is appointed chancellor of Germany, Mahatma Gandhi is martyred and even Andrew Jackson gets in on the action.  Nydia uncovers why the middle of April should be arrested. It’s not just Hitler’s birthday. It’s also the date of the Columbine high school massacre, the sinking of the Titanic, the Ludlow massacre, the Waco massacre, the Oklahoma City bombing, and more!   Cindy focuses on April 25th with some lesser known facts about the day.
For dinner this week, Cindy prepared a listener request. She made a breakfast tater tot casserole with southern style cheesy grits. For dessert, she made us some delicious banana espresso chocolate chip muffins. Our meal was paired with Apothic Rose, a California Rose with fruity sweet and sour notes.
