Frank Sondheim goes to Doctor Rory for treatment. While he's there, Frank learns that Maureen will be flying their daughter, Cynthia, to Bendigo straight away, also for medical assessment. Danny and his ambulance colleague receive an emergency call to a plane crash. Maureen and Cynthia are both seriously injured and a helicopter ambulance is called to transfer them to a Melbourne hospital. The incident raises problems regarding pre-Christmas events at Corker's Creek.
