- Joe Karberg in Safety recently shared that the highest dollar accident type is a rear-end collision- allow reasonable following distance. Second is broadside accidents, third is rollovers- most often these involve speed- slow down to not put yourself in this situation. Side swipe and lane changes are next- make sure you are clear before you enter or exit a lane. Intersection and run in- slow down at those intersections
