Where have I been for the last two months?
In this episode of Craving More Beyond the Food, I’m sharing why I needed to step away and what I’ve learned while finding my way back to myself.
After dealing with health issues again this summer, I realized it was time to make my body and healing a priority. That has meant returning to whole-food, plant-based eating, moving my body mindfully, meal prepping, and working with my doctors on my A1C, insulin resistance and acid reflux.
But the biggest shift hasn’t just been about food.
I’ve been using affirmations, visualization and meditation to connect with the woman I’m becoming and for the first time, I don’t feel like I’m white-knuckling my way through another lifestyle change.
I also talk about emotional eating, perfectionism, going back to school, and why I’m giving myself permission to let my health be the A+ while everything else can sometimes be a C.
If you’ve been feeling lost and are trying to find your way back to your health, your dreams, your body or simply yourself I see you!
Come along with me while I figure it out too.
For a long time, I thought every episode needed to teach something.
Lately, I’ve realized that’s been exhausting me.
In this week’s episode, I’m putting the lesson plans aside and simply sharing where I am. We talk about the pressure to always be happy, the weight of constantly trying to improve ourselves, why healing can sometimes feel overwhelming, and what happens when life becomes so busy that we don’t even have time to take care of ourselves.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re consuming all the books, podcasts, affirmations, and advice—but still feel like you’re trying to catch up with your own life—this episode is for you.
No perfect answers.
No five-step plan.
Just an honest conversation from one human being to another.
After one of the most chaotic weeks I’ve had in a long time, I realized something: when I stop practicing the things that keep me grounded, I fall apart.
In this honest, unscripted episode, I’m sharing why I feel called to shift the direction of Craving More: Beyond the Food toward spirituality, meditation, affirmations, mindfulness, and healing from the inside out.
I also share a deeply personal story about my uterine ablation, learning to listen to my body instead of outside opinions, and why I believe the words we say to ourselves have the power to change the way we think, feel, and even heal.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed, or stuck in the cycle of trying to “fix” yourself, I hope this episode reminds you that healing doesn’t begin with the perfect diet. It begins when we stop fighting ourselves and start listening.
Some of the teachers who have shaped my own spiritual journey:
This week’s episode is a little different. No script. No polished lesson. Just an honest conversation about where I am right now.
I’m sharing what it’s been like navigating physical pain, emotional eating, working full-time, finishing my bachelor’s degree, and trying to build a life that actually feels peaceful instead of constantly rushed. We talk about burnout, clutter, perfectionism, and why sometimes the most healing thing we can do is give ourselves permission to slow down.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or like you’re trying to hold everything together, I hope this episode reminds you that you’re not alone. Sometimes taking care of yourself means stepping back before you can move forward.
Thank you for being here and walking this journey with me. ❤️
This week, I’m sharing something a little more personal.
I’ve been navigating a painful shoulder injury, a flare-up of sciatica, and the emotional toll that comes with living in a body that’s hurting. Between the stress, exhaustion, and relying on takeout meals, I also found myself slipping back into emotional eating.
Instead of asking, “How do I get back on track?” I started asking a different question: What is my nervous system asking for right now?
In this episode, we’re talking about pain, stress eating, binge eating, self-compassion, and why healing isn’t about being perfect. It’s about learning to come back to ourselves with kindness… even after difficult days.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, if you’ve been comforting yourself with food, or if you’ve been carrying shame for simply doing your best, I hope this conversation reminds you that you haven’t failed. You’re human.
Take a deep breath, settle in, and let’s begin again… together.
If this episode resonates with you, I’d love for you to follow the podcast and share it with someone who might need this reminder today.
Sometimes the most healing thing we can do isn’t push harder. It’s to finally allow ourselves to rest.
If you’ve been carrying the weight of work, responsibilities, chronic stress, physical pain, or simply the pressure to keep going, this gentle guided meditation is an invitation to lay it all down for a little while.
Together, we’ll soften the body, calm the nervous system, release the tension we’ve been holding, and reconnect with the quiet truth that you have already done enough for today.
You don’t have to earn your rest.
You don’t have to fix yourself before you deserve peace. You simply have permission to be here.
Find a comfortable place to settle in, take a deep breath, and let yourself be held.
With love, Becky

If this meditation brings you comfort, I’d be so grateful if you’d follow the podcast, leave a review, or share it with someone who could use a little more rest today.
Take a sacred pause and reconnect with the woman you’re becoming.
In this gentle guided meditation, you’ll be invited to step away from the noise of everyday life and connect with your future self… the version of you who has navigated the storms, found her truth, and lives with peace, confidence, and deep alignment.
Through breath, visualization, and reflection, you’ll explore how she nourishes herself, how she responds to stress, and how she moves through the world with grace and self-trust.
Because she isn’t a stranger.
She is you.
Find a comfortable place to rest, take a deep breath, and allow yourself to come home to yourself.
🌿 Best enjoyed with headphones.
With love,
Becky Aldi
Craving More Beyond the Food
In this episode, It's almost midnight on a Saturday night, and I'm sitting in the quiet space of my room recording a very real, very raw message straight from my heart to yours.
Lately, I've been feeling a massive pull to change how we talk about 'craving more' in our lives. If I'm being completely transparent, I've caught myself moving too fast, stressing my nervous system, and forgetting the most important piece of my own puzzle: the slowing down. The quiet. The meditation.
In this short, intimate episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on where this podcast is going. We aren't leaving the food conversation behind, but we are stepping into something deeper. I'm claiming my space as your spiritual and meditative guide, because it's time we heal our lives from the inside out, not just manage what's on our plates.
What's next: Slip into something comfortable, turn down the noise of the world, and look out for the very next track on the feed—a guided meditation born out of my own deep need to breathe and listen to my soul this week. Let's start craving the peace we all deserve.
I love you guys. See you in the meditation.
In this raw and vulnerable episode, I open up about my struggle with perfectionism even while creating a podcast that was supposed to be unedited and real.
After spending an entire week trying to record the “perfect” episode, I realized I was doing the exact thing I encourage other women not to do… waiting to feel perfect before showing up.
This episode is about perfectionism, emotional eating, healing, vulnerability, and learning to let go of the pressure to do everything flawlessly.
Because real life is unedited. And healing doesn’t require perfection.
You just have to be willing to show up exactly as you are.
In this episode, I’m sharing a moment that honestly shifted something in me in a way I didn’t expect.
I’ve been working with a nurse through my doctor’s office for accountability and support on my health journey and during one of our calls, she said something so simple, but so powerful:
“I’m not perfect either.”
And I didn’t realize how much I needed to hear that… until I did.
For so long, I’ve felt like I needed to do everything “right” when it comes to food, weight loss, and my health. Like I should know better. Like I should be further along.
But hearing someone in the medical field openly admit that they struggle too… it took the pressure off in a way nothing else has.
In this episode, I talk about:
* the pressure of trying to be perfect with food
* why advice alone isn’t always enough
* how this moment changed the way I see myself
* and why being human might actually be the key to healing
If you’ve ever felt like you’re messing this up… this episode is for you.
You’re not broken. You’re human.
