[00:02:57]You were an anchor, reporter, producer of the 60th anniversary of the Desegregation of UGA documentary. And that is when you realized that you had to be a journalist. After graduating, you got a job in advertising and quit and moved to Pensacola.
[00:04:58]The documentary was all about the process of Charlene Hunter Gault and Hamilton Homes, who were the first two black students to ever go to UGA. I just knew that whenever I saw it on screen, that I had to be a storyteller.
[00:06:29]"I love it. I'm loving being by the beach, and of course, I grew up on the coast in Kingsland. Nothing beats the Gulf Coast. The water is just immaculate. The people here in Northwest Florida have been really kind to me "
[00:07:50]What is one of your favorite things about the Gulf Coast so far? The seafood is fantastic. How much love and support there are for our veterans. The fact that this is the home of the Blue Angels, that was an experience for me.
