There are times when God's actions are hard to understand and seem to contradict our expectations of what love should look like. This week, we delved in the story of Lazarus and how Jesus' delayed response to Lazarus' illness was out of his great love for him and his sisters. The next time you are tempted to conclude that God doesn't care about you because He has not shown up in your situation yet, know that He is waiting because He doesn't want to meet your expectations, He wants to exceed them.
