Kara Welke, OTD, OTR/L, CLT creator of the Next Level Occupational Therapy platform interviews Aaron Shaw OTR/L, CHT, CSCS is an occupational therapist, certified hand therapist, and certified strength and conditioning specialist with 24 years of clinical experience. He is a recognized expert in the shoulder, arm and hands rehabilitation with a passion for hands-on manual therapy, custom orthosis fabrication, and functional exercise performance. Aaron is an author and speaker with a passion for topics including shoulder biomechanics and strategies to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and personal training.

In April 2015 Aaron founded MoveMend, Seattle’s only neighborhood-based clinic specializing in rehabilitation of the shoulder, arm and hand and post-injury personal training. Since opening, the practice has grown to include physical therapy and massage, expanding the functional approach to rehabilitation to include the entire body.
