Just start doing instagram reels
Instagram’s algorithm is going to play in your favor. Your grid and stories only have a shelf life of 24 hours. A reel’s shelf life is 3 weeks! If you are going to create great content, make sure to invest time in a reel that will have a much longer life.
Reels are seen by people who are following AND people who aren’t following you. Even if you use hashtags or not
Produce a combination of entertaining and relatable content
Allows people to be entertained and connects with your audience. Grab a notebook and write in it throughout the day in order to come up with relatable content.
Continue to create content that positions you as the expert so that as people find you they can see that you are an expert and decide to follow you.
They find you because you are relatable, but stay with you because you provide value.
Look at your data
Understand what your people are connecting with and what is attracting more people into your audience.
What are people commenting on, or tagging? When are your reels “peaking”? Focus on this information to schedule and plan your content so that you can take advantage of when your people are engaging.
This allows you to produce content that is relevant and stays fresh in the algorithm’s feed.
