This sermon looks at the story of Jacob and Esau, and how Esau was governed by his appetite trading his birthright for a bowl of stew. From this we can learn to invite the Lord into orienting our minds for a long term perspective instead of short term satisfaction, and to understand what appetites try to govern our own lives so that we can confess those to the Lord.
