Created for Community-Pastor Leo Lozano

Listen Later

In this message titled "Created for Community," Pastor Leo addresses the question of whether we're truly ready to meet Jesus—not just as individuals, but as a unified church body. He begins by challenging the notion that Christianity is simply about showing up on Sundays, referencing John 10:10 where Jesus promises abundant life. Pastor Leo emphasizes that Jesus didn't die for just one person, but for the whole world, and gave the church a collective purpose.

Drawing from Acts 2:42-47, Pastor Leo examines how the early church operated after Pentecost. He highlights that the believers were "together and in unity"—a crucial distinction, as unity doesn't mean uniformity but rather finding common ground despite differences. The early church devoted themselves to four essential practices: the apostles' teaching (because transformation requires truth, not just information), fellowship (actually doing life together beyond Sunday gatherings), sharing meals (making time for each other a priority), and prayer (which changes circumstances but more often changes us). Because of their commitment to these practices, "a deep sense of awe came over them all," and the apostles performed miraculous signs and wonders, leading to daily church growth.
