We were created by God to be vessels through which Christ could manifest His life. There is no higher calling than this. We lay our lives down in order that the Lord might pick us up and use us for His glory. This is how Jesus lived His life. The Son came into the world to do the will of the Father. The Father filled His Son with the fullness of the Holy Spirit. The Father worked through the Son and performed miracles through Him. Jesus manifested His Father to the world. Jesus finished the work the Father gave Him to do. We are called to do the same thing. God calls us to partner with His Son. Apart from Jesus we can do nothing.
