Our guests, Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta, are the founders of Danny and Ron’s Rescue, a rescue organization that has rescued and rehabilitated nearly 14,000 dogs over the past 17 years.

The work they’ve done with their rescue organization has been the subject of the 2018 documentary film Life in the Doghouse and the book Forever Home: How We Turned Our House Into A Haven For Abandoned, Abused, and Misunderstood Dogs – and Each Other.

They discuss their commitment to rescue and rehabilitate thousands of mistreated dogs, what it’s like caring for so many dogs, and offer tips and advice on how to care for a rescue dog.
