This episode is Ashley’s story of inspiration and encouragement on how she found light after walking in circles in the darkness of grief. How she found support at that time and how we can also accept and acknowledge encouragement from each other.

After unexpectedly losing her husband, Dr. Ashley Wellman, who is a professor of Criminal Justice, author, speaker, and scholar, had to find her way to deal with the overwhelming sadness and assist her daughter with her own process.

Feeling lost and alone, Ashley had difficulty moving on, and her life priorities and roles started to fade away from her; motherhood and career. Yet, she was able to turn everything around and is now thriving in her new creative endeavors and being truly passionate about what is in store for her.
