While at the Boston University IDEA Conference 2020, Karen met Max Bard, a master’s level BU graduate and an artist in residence. He created a sculpture while at the conference made out of all found materials. The annual IDEA Conference is a one-day event for college students and young alumni across New England to explore innovation and entrepreneurship through technology, social impact, and arts and culture.
