Apart from solving problems maligning the agricultural sector, PM Modi said that the government is working towards creating a better future for farmers in India.

It has facilitated Indian farmers to sell their produce on e-mandi via eNam network, cold storage facilities, and logistics facilities among others.

eNam, Cold Storage Facilities And MoreAn online marketplace for trading agriculture commodities eNam currently has a total of 1.65 Cr farmers from 18 states and union territories across India.

The scheme also helps farmers cover their entire infrastructure facilities along with the logistics assistance or supply chain facilities, be it pre-cooling, sorting, waxing facilities at farm level, blast freezing, mobile cooling units among others.
