Coordinated Management of Meaning (CMM) is a communication theory that claims: "persons-in-conversation co-construct their own social realities, and are simultaneously shaped by the worlds they create." As "persons-in-conversation" we coordinate with others to create patterns of communication; it is up to us to engage intentionally with our stories and with others to create better social worlds.
