There are 500 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute worldwide (Tubefilter, 2019). That's 30,000 hours of video uploaded every hour and 720,000 hours of video uploaded every day to YouTube. 

This is just one of many examples of digital platforms today. To all my past, present, and future content creators out there,  numbers like these can sometimes be discouraging. It's hard to think about how you would ever stand out amongst the vast majority of content being uploaded today. This is why it's important to shut out the outside noise and stick to creating something you are proud of.
