Blake Modersitzki is the Managing Partner at Pelion Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company has a very cool portfolio of tech companies including Cloudflare, Neighbor, Riverbed, and Owlet. Blake is a hardworking farm kid from Idaho who has been investing in early-stage tech startups since 1996. He joined Pelion in 2002 and has led investments in companies such as Redhat, Riverbed, Fusion.io, Integral Ad Science, DOMO, eCommerce, Soasta, and Metacloud.

Blake is an economist and a finance expert. He has a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University.
