In building a world that is fair in representation and opportunities our society needs to progress on the issues of equity and equality. One of the detractors is that people tend to have different definitions to some of these terms. So, we tend to start these discussions from different views. What is equity? What is equality? How do we navigate the tension between individuality and group identity?

On this episode of BlackFor30, I have the privilege of discussing these issues with Mini Biti, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practitioner who brings a critical voice to the subject. Mini is the Founder of The Lunar Foundation, which is a non-profit organisation that uniquely focuses on empowering parents, young people, and educators to help them navigate the complex world of diversity.
