I know that this season that we’re in with social distancing can be fairly difficult for some famliies both emotionally and financially, especially as an entrepreneur. To sell or not to sell? My clients are thinking of backing out. I can’t work on my business as much as I usually do because the kids are home. How do I cope during this time? Today, my extra special guest Marielle from Ivy & Elle Studios is going to be answering all of those questions and then some, as she is the queen of systems and automations and is all about helping you free up your time when you can, especially as busy mamas!

“You need to cut everything down to what really matters and what’s going to move things forward...” [04:36]
You have to be gentle with yourself and remember that every day is unpredictable with your kids being at home...
“Have a bit of a grey or white space period to catch up on things if you get behind...” [06:38]
White space helps you catch up in a pinch if things are not going as planned, whereas you will never catch up if you schedule out every little bit of your day….
“Look at the things that are essential in terms of your bottom line...” [08:35]
What is bringing income in the short term? Is it serving your current clients, doubling down on serving them to the best of your ability...
“Make sure you are also creating boundaries for your clients as well...” [12:04]
Tell your clients your new office hours, which may not be many if you are struggling with younger children at home...
“You have to train people how to treat you sometimes...” [16:07]
Sometimes simply deleting an app such as your email or Facebook will help you stop being at beck and call for your clients and is necessary for your health...
