Today’s show is the second part of a two-part interview with Bill Schuffenhauer.
As we concluded last week’s interview with Bill Schuffenhauer, we ended on a high note. An Olympic athlete with a silver medal, Bill was on top of the world. With all his accomplishments, the biggest challenges of his life still laid ahead of him.
In today’s episode, we learn about the eight chaotic years following his Olympic career, fueled by depression, substance abuse, and toxic relationships. Bill only recently started speaking publicly about this part of his story, as he believes it’s a story that needs to be shared.
As Bill hurtled closer and closer to rock bottom, his life fell apart in every imaginable way. He found himself facing two options: continue on his path to destruction. Or take 100% accountability, and transform himself and his life.
Thankfully, he chose the latter, and he lives to share how he made it to the other side.
